Mags, blogs and "new" media

Although many magazine publishers plunged into digital media only to withdraw on finding the water was much colder than expected, a lot of the usual suspects are making more considered advances. Blogs and other "new" methods of communicating with readers are currently important as recent industry awards show.

It also helps that advertisers are increasingly shifting their spend to online. This has been reported in many other locations and in connection with other sectors, not just outdoor.
