Late for the sky (or iPhone)
Hey ho, behind the times as usual. Andrew Losowsky reported the first magazine/iTunes/iPhone combination last year on Magtastic Blogsplosion.

I promise I'm not doing this to be annoying :) But also The Fader, a music magazine, started using iTunes as a free distribution channel for its PDF magazine F2 in late March 2008. I don't think it's had much success though.
As you rightly say, iTunes is definitely a piece of software that all media, not just magazines, is looking to as a digital distribution model that works (albeit still only allowing people with iPods or iPhones to take things portable). Interesting times to come.
